My first time up in Wisconsin was on May 15th, 2020. Philip came to pick me up in his prized possession, his GTO. He refused to take the car on the freeway, so he drove us from Aurora, IL to Wind Lake, WI all on back roads. Our drive up was taking place after the sun had set. So there I am, in a car with a guy who is still technically a stranger from the internet, after dark. Philip then pulls the car over to the side of the road, in the middle of nowhere, looks over at me and asks, "Are you ready?" That's when I thought to myself, "This is really happening, I'm about to be murdered by a stranger from the internet..." But of course that isn't what Philip had in mind. Instead he slams on the gas and does a burnout in his GTO, just trying to show off. To this day, I'm so glad my stranger from the internet had very different intentions than to murder me!
